Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a Cuban-American television arbitrator in the shows Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Ana was born and lived in Havana in the Cuban capital. She moved to Miami with her family at the age of 2 following her move from Havana. Ana Maria Polo from Habana is the host and producer for Telemundo's "Caso Cerrado", one of the most popular Spanish-language shows on the network. The show was nominated for an Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards in the year 2015. The show was ranked at the top in all key demos. Polo was born on April 11th, 1959, in Havana Cuba and graduated from Florida International University in Political Science. From there she earned her PhD in law from the University of Miami and practiced law for twenty years within the City of Miami. In the end, she obtained the PhD in law from the University of Miami and practiced law for more than 20 years in the city of Miami. Polo appeared for the first time on Telemundo Sala de Parejas in 2001. Other court shows also featured her expert legal advice. Literary Works and Accolades In 1958 she published the story Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children), with which she received the Critic's Prize as well as the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute emigrated to the United States after leaving Spain in the year 1960. A breast cancer survivor, Polo frequently speaks and raises money for the charity. She has been a strong supporter for LGBT rights throughout the course of her life. She is a lawyer at The University of Miami School of Law in Florida, and is also a Florida Bar Member.
